This artist was recommended to me in Crit a couple weeks ago. I am mostly interested in his Ladybug piece from 2010. This is a link to his website where you can see it.
This work touches on alot of similar ideas which i am currently exploring within my own work. The theme of ladybugs, at what point does a ladybug become threating (?), a swarm or overwhemling feeling of an insect usually thought of as under the halo effect.
Ladybug 2010 by GÁBOR FÜLÖP makes me feel like my skin is crawling, as though I am the one covered in bugs. I like it because it envokes emotion into the veiwer and succeeds in changing the ladybugs stereotype image.
